When going to Japan, I didn't know what to expect from the people or the places, but I soon found that everything was more than I expected. Everywhere I went was spectacular. Between the shrines, large cities, wonderful people and host families, it was like being in a city of gold. Everyone there was very nice and even those who I didn't know were always willing to help. I am very grateful for all those who helped in Japan, especially The Showa International Friendship Association and our host families. It could not have been a better trip. Thank you.
