First night with host family and Daruma factory

By Tong, Elise and Aly

Tong Her: Whoa. Japan is soooooo cool right now. Last night when my host family took me back to their house I was quite scared of the drive. the roads are so narrow and yet they still drive fast, but it was cool. They gave me sooo much stuff, a room for myself, a dresser to put my clothes in, a TV, CD player, and some other stuff. This morning I probably had the biggest breakfast I've had in a year. It was soooo yummy. Now we are going to the Daruma Factory. Will write soon.

elise: my host family is really nice. i got to sleep on a tatami mat and futon just like Kenshin...I'm a SAMURAI! I've been a little sick and I'm a little homesick too, but the sushi restaurant should be fun.

hello, this is aly. the daruma factory was a lot of fun, and i even got some souvenirs for my sister :). i am nervous about trying all of the kinds of sushi, but i hope it will be okay. my host family is really nice. today frances and i are going to her part time job working with elementary school children. it will be a lot of fun! bye for now.
