2006 Photo Album
This is our 16 days adventure (June 10-26). There are 9 parts of this album. We have about 2000 pictures. Please let us share our days in Japan.
The places we visited: Showa-Town (Saitama), Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Hiroshima. Our host-families are wonderful! Thank you very much!
Our journey started at Showa-Town (Saitama) which is Nagai-sensei's hometown. When we arrived at Tokyo for the first time we were amazed how many people are there!

We visited Nakano Elementary School in Showa-town. We had such a great time with the elementary school students.
We visited Hakuyo High School in Yokohama and attended classes for the day. We went to calligraphy class, Japanese history class, and others, and we taught at the English class! There was also science workshops and we saw lots of after-school activities. We also spent one weekend with Hakuyo High School student's family. It is very important for us to know what Japanese teenagers think. Thank you very much for the opportunity.
We left for the West side of Japan on Shinkansen. We always wanted to visit old traditional city, Kyoto.

- Kiyomizu (love temple) and Golden temple in Kyoto
Despite the rain, two of our favorite places are Hiroshima and Miyajima. We gained a great understanding of the A-Bomb museum. The temple in Miyajima was amazing. Then back to Tokyo to stay at the Capsule hotel, which was a very unique experience.

Our crew has good photographers. Most of these photos were taken by students.
We had lots of good food on the trip. We miss it a lot.
