Daruma Factory
Anna- Daruma was hard, but very fun! The brushes were the difficult part. If you made a mistake, it was permanent! so we had to be "confident in our stroke" [as sarah put it]. The shop owner gave us all a sake cup for coming! it was a lot of fun !
Sarah- daruma was super fun.
Sushi Restaurant:
Jay- after the daruma shop we were hungry, fortunately, the sushi bar was next. we walked for about 20 min or so, dodging traffic or trying to stay high and dry from the rain before we saw the sushi bar. after we walked through the front door, i then realized that my purpose in life was to dominate this sushi bar. the sushi tasted amazing, and each dish of sushi costs roughly 80 cents per plate. out of our group, i ate the most, eating 16 plates worth of sushi. the dishes were so diverse, you could look on the conveyor and see octopus or teriyaki chicken, then seconds later you would see gourmet chocolate cake and apple juice boxes wheel on by. the coolest thing about the sushi bar besides the conveyor is that each booth had a speaker that you could use to place an order with the sushi chefs in the back.
