Ramen shop, Imperial Palace and Odaiba (Waterfront Park)

By Bryan, Larry and Anna

Bryan-Today we left our host family in the morning. We will come back to stay with this family again, so we were able to leave some of our things with them. I still had a lot to carry, however, and we had to walk with our pack for a long time. We came to the Youth Hostel to drop our things off, and went to lunch. I went to a ramen shop with Kevin, Larry, Jay, and Sensei. It was incredible; I imagine I will cry the first time I eat instant Maruchan ramen in the states. After this, we went to the Imperial Palace park. We got to see so many amazing structures and gardens.

Larry - Yesterday was a great day, but let me start today and work my way back. My shower today was cold. Cold because in my shower, the hot water was broken. Yesterday, I managed to misread my watch and we (Mike and Kevin) ended up rushing to a rendezvous half an hour early. We also went to a car show, it was a fun time. Around that time, we also visited a very entertaining arcade with crazy games. Before that, we had checked into the Youth Hostel after visiting the Imperial Palace. The gardens there were phenomenal. That followed lunch, where we had ramen that was like having ambrosia. Lunch, however, was the second activity of the day, the first being train ride after train ride after train ride.

Anna - well, Sarah, Emily, and I went to the mall thing. Emily and Sarah went on an enormous Ferris wheel; I watched because I'm afraid of heights. then we went to look for some shopping, but all the cute stuff was REALLY expensive! we went to this one store that had t-shirts with English on them and they didn't make any sense! they were just random words in English or awkwardly written phrases with a sexual meaning. they were so funny! so instead of buying some, we took pictures of them! then we wandered around and got into a laughing fit. we were being really silly, but it was a lot of fun. then on the way back to the youth hostel, we took a train that has no driver. it was really pretty with all of the night lights... this trip has been a LOT of fun! bye
