Elementary School

By Taylr, Agatha and Zach

Taylr - Today we are at the elementary school. I'm here with Steph, Zach, and Zurn-sensei. I'm shocked at how well behaved all of the Japanese school children are - however, they are still kids, so they're pretty crazy. I'm still adjusting to the idea of actually being in Japan, things are slightly difficult, but I'm doing alright.

Agatha Reitz (Tae): Oh my goodness, speaking Japanese is a lot harder than I thought. The school is amazing. So far, we've done "English" (grammar) and sewing. Sewing was probably my favorite, since both Libby and I were already able to sew. Grammar was intense. I don't remember doing any reports that long and complex while I was in Elementary school! But the kids are apparently smarter than us. And lunch was pretty good, if very different from anything I've had before.

Zach: We're playing a game called hitman which was very interesting. It was even more interesting because everything was being explained in Japanese. I thought it would be easy to understand smaller kids, but it is not.
