Odaiba Water Front Park

i was in a group composed of sam, zach, mac, evan, nathaniel and myself. we started out by briefly checking out the car show, but none of us had much of an interest in cars so we continued on to the nearby mcdonalds.

sam, zach and evan took on the daunting task of eating the "mega tamago burger." this monstrosity of a sandwich was comprised of a bun, two beef patties, lettuce, another bun, even more lettuce, mayonnaise, two strips of bacon, another beef patty, an egg and cheese hybrid patty and finally, the top bun (in ascending order). miraculously, all three managed to finish it without any heart attacks or clogged arteries. meanwhile, the rest of us stuck with easier options, such as the teriyaki and ebi (shrimp) burgers.

afterwards, we perused through the venus fort shopping center. we found some interesting things, but most of the center was targeted towards women, and we were a group of 6 guys. so, we ventured downstairs to the very large arcade. i got to ride a mechanical panda! it was a lot of fun.

after we had our time there, we took the monorail over to the aqua shopping center. there wasn't anything too interesting or exciting there since by this point we were all very exhausted from the long day. however, towards the end of the night we sat on the shore and took in the breathtaking views of the tokyo harbor cityscape at night. sitting on the shore was very beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil and made me appreciate life a little bit more.
