Right now we are sitting in the airplane waiting to depart. Everyone got here on time and things are going well so far. Nobody's homesick yet! Pouring rain now, hopefully the flight won't be delayed. A full flight but most of us are sitting together.
Tong Her: Right now it is raining and its about 3:00 PM. Sensei is sitting next to me holding her daughter, Hanna. Im watching the people outside unload the luggage. Last night I couldn't sleep at all. I cant wait until we take off. Japan here I come.
Elise. It hasn't really hit me yet. I'M GOING TO JAPAN. the plane ride should be fun, i wish i could bring my whole family with. this will be a riot. Yay.
Hey everyone. Maria here. I am sitting in an airplane with Elise on one side of me and Eric on the other. I also have a cute little baby right behind me...give you one guess who it is!!! She likes my hair.... The fact that we're on our way to Japan hasn't hit me yet either. I can't wait until it does!
Okay...I guess it's my turn...Hey everybody. It's Eric. I think you know who I am. If you don't...that's okay. On a plane next to Maria ... whoopee. I'm just trying to relax. The ride here was alright. Derek had some sweet tunes, as always. Also, me and Tong spent about a half hour on the tram. That thing kicks! Hopefully we take off soon. I'm already startin' to hurt in places I can't describe.
Hi, this is Lauren. I'm sitting next to Andy and Matt and we're trying to figure out what movies are going to play. Fun stuff. Also, I think Matt and Andy are telling secrets about me. its steph now. stopped raining, so the sky has opened up for us all on our way to japan. we've made it so far, go us!
I'm sandwiched between Steph and Derek. I think later when I try to sleep I'll lean on Derek's shoulder. Hmm, haven't been back to Japan since January 2002.It will be nice to see it again ... and also through the eyes of students seeing it for the first time. Emily
