How to get there? |
The train is very convenient. |

Chris is shopped out. Today began with a marvelous breakfast of two doughnuts and a "chocofudge" shake, at Mr. Doughnut. Yet another place i'll miss in the states. We set off to explore Asakusa, Nagai sensei's hometown. After buying some sweet cheap pots, the shopping began to wear on me. After that we met up at the Kaminari Mon, "Thunder Gate", and took a train to Ueno. I neglected to describe the stores because they all bled together. I hate tourism. Nah. Anyway, after wandering around Ueno's "America Street", a place filled with fake brand name items and barterability, we found a used book store. The only place i actually was looking for! So with 15 minutes left Sam and I bought some fly wares and ran back to meet sensei. Now we're en-route to spend our second to last night in Japan, in Showa town.
