at Narita Airport: We are going home! | Meiji-shrine |
Kevin - I've had an awesome trip, it's been a fantastic experience. I have enjoyed every minute of it really. all of the sightseeing was amazing, and I enjoyed my stay with all my host families. I will miss this trip, I had a lot of fun.
Jay - man, I love Japan. I've learned that anything that involves technology that's in Japan is vastly superior to ours. it could be the most minute and trivial piece of equipment, and yet they managed to put GPS on it, make it a 30 gig MP3 player, and stick as many different colored flashing lights on it as possible. That's one of the many reasons I love Japan, they have all the nuances and conveniences that America lacks in the public arena. Additionally, Japan has the food known as Shabu Shabu, which raises the bar of amazingly tasty foods.
Sarah - I had an amazing trip. it is still a lot to digest because we packed so many activities into such a short time. I am exhausted, but it was a good experience! peace out.
Emily-Because this trip was so amazing, I want to come back! All of my host families were so great. I was really lucky. The temples that I had the chance to visit were amazing, so interesting and unique. I had a lot of fun on this trip and will definitely try to come back again.
Anna - well, I have had a really exciting trip. many of the people on this trip will have another opportunity to travel outside the US, but I don't think I will. that is why I have had as much fun as I possibly could. I have learned many things about Japanese culture that I was unaware of, and have come to know many people that I wish to see again. this has been a good experience, despite having to deal with certain personality clashes. overall, I have had some of my best experiences on this trip.
Drew - it was a lot of fun. My host families were great and very nice. I hope to come back sometime soon :) - Maybe even a few times.
Michael - Japan was great; the food, the people, everything. I'm planning on coming back sometime in the near future when my Japanese is better.
Bryan - I am going to miss Japan a lot. I had a fantastic time, the people here are so nice. I am especially going to miss my host brother Akira from Showa. Also Coolish. Coolish is the most amazing ice cream substance I've ever met in a convenience store. I am looking forward to coming home, but I would love to come back here.
Larry - Japan has been a great experience for me. I've gotten to work on my Japanese and slightly lose my English abilities, such as pronouncing "l's." Everything has been great, though, and I hope to return in the future to remember friends old and new, the food, and the little quirks that make Japan unique.
