Back to Tokyo and Capsule Hotel

By Larry and Drew

Today we left Hiroshima hostel and returned to Tokyo.

Larry - Been a while since I left a message. Yesterday was the beginning of the return as we woke up extra early to ride the Shinkansen back to Tokyo. It's still amazing how fast those trains go. The last few days have been a blast. We visited Akihabara, a Mecca of electronics and all sorts of goodies. Some people also visited places like Shibuya, shopping around. For the night we checked into a capsule hotel: essentially a box with a light and TV. I didn't find it very plush or comfy, and someone gave me a very angry glare this morning after I thumped my body against the capsule's ceiling. It still remained a good time, but I'm ready to get home and sleep in a familiar bed.

Drew - the capsule hotel was pretty cool and not too uncomfortable like I thought it would be. In fact I fit in the cell well and slept great. American street was really cool I thought. We met up with Slowinski Sensei at Mister Donut. Yeah, American street was pretty amazing :)
