gen: TOO MUCH FOOD!!! my family is really cool, my mom speaks english really well, but my dad doesn't speak any. we get through by speaking japenglish. also, mom makes too much food for me, even though it is all really good. she also got me lots of cake, so i am so happy. note to self: bring home a japanese bath tub, those things are really awesome.
Libby - My host family is a young couple with two daughters, who are shy but love Disney princesses. We spoke mainly Japanese but their English is also pretty good. For breakfast,Yoshiko made miso soup, rice, and fish - it was very delicious.
